Having swooped silverware in previous years, Rimontgó’s ongoing commitment to excellence in the development and maintenance of its websites has not gone unnoticed. The firm finds itself on the nomination list for no fewer than three prizes at this year’s Luxury Real Estate awards.

The culmination of the 16^th Annual Luxury Real Estate Fall Conference will be the Awards Dinner held on 11 October at Grand Del Mar in San Diego, California. Inmobiliaria Rimontgó will be represented by company principal Antonio Ribes Bas, and with so many nominations there will be plenty to root for.

Property purchasers across the board have become increasingly demanding over the years and this phenomenon is even more marked among buyers of luxury homes.

Spain’s respected economic newspaper, Expansión, decided to ask the experts, namely esteemed vendors of high-end properties, consulting Rimontgó’s Cristina Martinez. Confirming that expectations were constantly increasing, she stated: “Executives spend very little time at home. But while they are there they expect all the comfort and five-star features that allow them to relax.”

Crisis – what crisis? In  a recent edition El Mundo’s Javier Carrasco confirmed that the luxury property market has returned to its previously buoyant state with the announcement, “The rich are back!” Using as evidence the recent 36 per cent increase in revenue that marked 2010 (an improvement that seems almost certain to continue this year) and the growing interest in some of the most oppulent  villas in the Valencia area, Carrasco quoted José Ribes Bas, who confirmed that 2009 was better than 2008 and that 2010 was more successful than 2009.
