There are bicycles – and then there are super-bicycles. There will be no prize for guessing into which category Cervélo bikes fall.
These cleverly designed vehicles are both pleasing to the eye and ruthlessly efficient, with the lightest aero frame in the world.
This year marked the first Tour de France outing for Cervélo Test Team and a successful debut ended with Cervélo’s Carlos Sastre finishing 17th, a fabulous result for a first outing in such a prestigious international event while the team’s Thor Hushovd took the Green Jersey.
Tour de France entrants are superb athletes, training for years to achieve their potential, but amateurs can also enjoy the feeling of power and freedom offered by a Cervélo bike. The S3 road bike is also available in a limited edition Tour de France model which sports the black and yellow Tour de France design, an investment that has the unique advantage of also being a lot of fun to ride!
The S3 is part artwork, part feat of engineering: it is breathtakingly aerodynamic, with a further freedom of movement that has been gained without compromise. The bike is incredibly light, meaning that competitive road racers won’t pick up any weight penalties.

Cervélo also specialises in triathlon bikes, the latest incarnation of which is the P4. This futuristic creation is the successor to the bestselling P3, a bike so fast it took all the ingenuity of Cervélo’s design team to improve on it. Finally, after months of research, development and testing (including two months spent putting the bicycle through its paces at the San Diego Low Speed Wind Tunnel), the P4 is ready to rock the world of the triathlon. Even the water bottle is now an integral part of the bike, maximising the efficiency of the airfoil tubes, while its 570ml capacity contains more than a standard water bottle.
Some bikes merely allow you to travel from A to B, but a Cervélo bicycle is born when total efficiency meets exquisite design.
