The latest creation of the design firm founded in 1930 by Battista Farina doesn’t drive around circuits, but instead uses the sea as its performance area. From the Brazilian company Schaefer, model 800 – a vessel more than 24m long – has been presented during the latest edition of the Rio Boat Show (being held until 1st May in Rio de Janeiro). Designers from Pininfarina have participated on the most exclusive version – the second collaboration between the Brazilian firm and the Turin based company since the Phantom 620. The vessel, which features a single level deck, has four cabins, a kitchen and a living/dining room, as well as a garage with space for two jet skies. The design of the Schaefer 800 – an 80 foot yacht – is characterised by the purity of lines, a distinctive sporty look and the high quality of the materials used for the interior.
