Next year’s European Grand Prix will once again take place in Valencia on 27th June, making use of the city’s Monte Carlo-esque street circuit. This popular event comes hot on the heels of the 33rd America’s Cup, meaning that 2010 will surely attract a record number of visitors to the city.
Prospective attendees are being offered a special Christmas bonus from the organisers of the European Grand Prix: from December 22nd until January 6th a tempting 25 per cent discount is available to fans who wish to book their tickets for the next European Grand Prix.
Since it was announced that the 2010 season’s launch was to take place in Valencia at the end of January, the world’s press has chosen to focus on the city as one of the world’s leading F1 venues, with attention being largely focused on the excitement generated by the challenges of a spectacular street circuit.

Last year’s European Grand Prix was held in August and won by Brazil’s Rubens Barrichello, driving for Brawn-Mercedes, who finally finished third behind team-mate Jenson Button and RBR-Renault’s Sebastian Vettel in the Drivers’ Championship.
Next year the event will avoid August’s searing heat, but with Barrichello, driving for Williams in 2010 and determined to make his trophy tally two out of two and Jenson Button equally focused on retaining his title – only this time with McLaren – this looks sure to be a thrilling race.
F1 fanatics should take the opportunity both to pick up some heavily discounted tickets and to ensure their attendance at 2010’s premier motor racing event.
