The motorcycle racer Nico Terol, born in Alcoy, will once again represent the Costa Blanca at Grand Prix’s taking place around Spain. This way, and thanks to the renewal of the ‘Nico Terol Race by Costa Blanca’ campaign, the Provincial Council of Tourism will have an information stand at all the circuits of the different races on the national championship calendar, in order to give people more information about the municipalities that make up the coastal area of the Valencian Community.
The museum of the City of New York will show a complete retrospective of the Valencian architect Rafael Guastavino’s legacy, under the framework of the exhibition ‘Palaces for the People’. Guastavino, although born in Valencia in 1842, developed his studios in Barcelona. In 1881 he emigrated to the US, accompanied by his son (also called Rafael, who over the years, also came to work hand in hand with his father), in the search for opportunities in the architectural sector, as he could find any in Spain, although he had already realized important projects like the La Massa Theatre in Vilassar de Dalt.

From 24th to 28th April, Valencias marina will once again roll out the red carpet to host the latest edition of the Valencia Boat Show, a boat exhibition that aims to surpass last year’s numbers, both in terms of visitors, as well as exhibitors. These aspirations would see more than 50,000 attendees visit the iconic Veles e Vents building.
Since last week the Plaza del Ayuntamiento, the square in front of the town hall of Valencia, has been adorned with sculptures by British artist Henry Moore. Moore’s work, which comprises seven imposing bronze sculptures, will be on display for admiring onlookers until the first week of May as part of the traveling exhibition entitled ‘Arte en la Calle’, meaning ‘Art on the Street’, sponsored by La Caixa Foundation.
