Javea throws itself into the marine sector

From 23 to 25 May, the Festival del Mar (Sea festival) will take place for the third time at the port of Javea, Alicante. It is organised by the Asociación de Comerciantes y Empresarios de Aduanas del Mar (ACEAM) (Teulada-Moraira Association of Businessmen and Traders), in collaboration with the Yacht Club of Javea and the town council of this city on the Costa Blanca.

Valencia CF celebrates 95th birthday

Valencia CF is celebrating an important birthday this year as one of Spain’s, and even Europe’s most important football clubs for 95 years. The football club’s historical trajectory began in March 1919 in the now long-gone Bar Torino, when a group of friends and football aficionados decided to establish a team in Valencia, under the name Valencia Foot-ball Club.

Valencia to host Spanish football’s famous knockout cup

The Mestralla stadium in Valencia is set to host the Copa del Rey football final on 16 April, which will see European football giants Real Madrid and FC Barcelona play head-to-head with their respective leading players, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
