An exhibition featuring the sculptures of Toni Mari was announced on Friday 8th October at the Hotel el Rodat in Javea. The people of this influential – and artistically lively – town are very proud of this sculptor’s achievements, particularly now that he has been invited to present his work in Brussels, the city that is the beating heart of the European Community.
In attendance at the announcement of this important event were Rafael Ripoll, representing the Generalitat or regional government of Valencia, Miguel Domínguez Concejal from Valencia’s Ayuntamiento, José Ciscar, delegate of Alicante’s regional government and several mayors from surrounding towns.
The exhibition will be officially inaugurated in Brussels by Francisco Camps, President of the Valencian Community.
Starting on Wednesday 27th October, it is hoped that this exhibition will allow Toni Mari’s work to reach a wider audience, which will not only help this talented artist, but will reveal the depth of talent in this part of Spain to the European Community at large.
