On the 29th of May the Castellon company Porcelanosa Group held the eighth edition of its International Architecture and Interior Design Awards. The gala awards ceremony took place in the privileged setting of the Hotel Ritz in Madrid and was attended by the leading professionals in the field of architecture and interior design.

In the ‘Future Projects’ category, the award in the ‘Student section’ went to Imanol Etayo Cabrejas, of the Professional School of New Technologies CICE in Madrid. Participants in this category had to submit design proposals for the Rodman Muse company yacht, utilising materials from the eight brands that are part of the Porcelanosa Group. In the ‘Professional section’, the award-winner was N+D Arquitectura, an architectural studio founded by Nuria Paterna and David Canós.

In the ‘Completed Projects’ category, the award went to the Valencian architect and designer Ramón Esteve for his Casa Sardinera project, located in the town of Javea on the Costa Blanca. The jury of the awards was made up by Carlos Jimenez (Carlos Jimenez Studio), Fermín Vázquez (b720 Arquitectos), Marc Hertrich & Nicolas Adnet (Studio MHNA), Joanna Biggs (GA-Design International) and Jordan Goldstein (Gensler).

Finally, in the ‘Contract’ category, the Porcelanosa Group awarded the Shenzhen Zhongzhou Central Commercial Park and residential project in Shenzhen, China, work executed by the Australian architectural company (N)Peddle Throp(N). Hector Colonques, President of the Porcelanosa Group also gave an additional honorary award to Belén Moneo in recognition of her work in architecture in two aspects: Projects and teaching.
