On 3 February, the 21st International Architecture Exhibition was launched by globally-renowned Valencian company Porcelanosa Group, in their hometown of Villarreal. The exhibition will be held until the 7th, allowing visitors to gain insight into the latest designs by eight of the companies which make up the group (Porcelanosa, Venis, L’Antic Colonial, Urbatek, Gamadecor, Noken, Systempool and Butech) by walking the impressive exhibition space which covers a vast 13,500m2. Porcelanosa hopes to attract 12,000 visitors to the exhibition like previous years, reaffirming their international prestige as proven by the large percentage of foreign clients from more than 40 different countries.
As in past exhibitions, six internationally-renowned professionals from the fields of interior design and architecture are appointed to give form to the latest proposals by L’Antic Colonial, creating the company’s new Signature Spaces (Espacios de Autor). Designers include professionals from the Valencian Community itself such as architects Ramón Esteve and Fran Silvestre who have both reached fame outside of Spain. Other professionals invited to attend this new initiative by Porcelanosa Group are Eduardo Soto de Moura, one of Portugal’s leading names in architecture, as well as Eric Kuster, Nuno Brandao and the company SB Architects who specialise in interior design for hotel facilities.
